Valentine’s Day Gifts for Your Guy

Buying gifts for other people is a pleasure of mine but, for some reason, I find buying for my husband, Chris, to be a difficult endeavor. No matter the holiday, I consistently ask him what he would like for a present so I don’t buy the wrong thing. Without fail, he always replies, “an old Ferrari.”

Thinking of a gift for Valentine’s Day is particularly difficult even though Chris has many interests. He is picky, not into clothes, and giving a gift certificate to West Marine (a boating superstore) just seems impersonal.

I started researching unique gift ideas for guys and thought I’d share my finds with you…

For Your History Buff…

Give the gift of history by subscribing your partner to historicmail.com. Each week, delivered by mail, your guy will receive an authentic replica of a letter written by George Washington, Thomas Edison, and more!

For the Chef…

Gaining in popularity are air fryers and, in particular, the all-in-one air fryer plus pressure cooker. Give this gift and have many, incredible meals for years to come.

For the Wine Connoisseur…

If your guy loves wine, what could be better than entering him to a monthly wine club? The Wall Street Journal offers a great subscription with award-winning wines. It’s a great deal with 12 bottles for only $69.99!

For Your DIY Guy

If your partner is a “Do it Yourself” guy like mine, he is sure to love this Dewalt tool set. Chris is constantly doing projects to update our historic home so this Dewalt 142- piece kit will definitely be useful. All for only $116!

For Your Adventurer

If your guy enjoys the outdoors, these lightweight backpacks from Marmot is sure to impress! Fill it with some useful items (water bottle and power bars) and plan a hike for Valentine’s Day.

What are your unique gift ideas? Please share!
